Also called La Bufa Rosa goup, this series is the most fragrant rainlily we grow. Originating from the Sierra Chiquita mountains just south of the Texas boarder, this Mexican rain lily booms with large flowers after summer rains. Z. Labuffarosa are believed to be natural hybrids between white Z. Chlorosolen, Z. Drummondii and an unknown pink species,. The flowers and vary from white to intense pink. It can stay evergreen even through mild winters. Leaves grown in winter are shorter, staying close to the ground for natural frost protection.
